Gladys Romero LaSalle

ABBEVILLE—Funeral services were held Friday, November 28, 2014 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Gladys Romero LaSalle, 94, who died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at her residence.
She will be laid to rest at Petry Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services. Pallbearers were Travis Thibodeaux, Dwayne Broussard, Henry Truax, Lollis Gaspard, Thomas C. LaSalle and Shawn LaSalle.
Honorary pallbearers were Landen Truax and Hayes Gaspard.
She is survived by her son, Thomas D. LaSalle and his wife Patsy of Forked Island; daugther, Gertie L. Thibodeaux and her husband Edless of Abbeville; six grandchildren, Travis Thibodeaux and his wife Dana of New Iberia, Crystal Gaspard and her husband Lollis of Abbeville, Tracy Truax and her husband Henry of Texas, Jamie Broussard and her husband Dwayne of Abbeville, Thomas C. LaSalle and his friend Erryca Courville of Meaux and Shawn LaSalle of Abbeville; and seven great grandchildren, Chantall Thibodeaux, Ashley Thibodeaux, Amber Gaspard, Paige Gaspard, Hayes Gaspard, Madison Truax and Landen Truax.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore LaSalle; parents, Clodias Romero and the former Amelia Viator; three brothers, Avery Romero, Toephile Romero and Evest Romero; and two sisters, Anita Boutte and Ella Romero.
