Gladys Lillian Simon

March 12, 1921 ~ April 24, 2016

KAPLAN — Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Gladys Lillian Simon, 95, who died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Lafayette General Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Lou Anna Conner and her husband, Joel of Houma; five grandchildren, Chad Simon of Maurice, Denise Simon of Kaplan, Ada Conner LeBouef of Houma, Mandy Simon Ortego of Chataignier, and Chris Conner of Houma; and twelve great grandchildren, Abby, Gabbi, Natalie, Jack, Laura, Christian, Mallory, Mia, Morgan, Lorraine, Claire, and Cohen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Simon; one son, Marvin P. Simon; her parents, Gabriel and Eda Meaux; and one brother, Maxie Meaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 11 a.m.
