ABBEVILLE – Funeral services for George T. Landry is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Lighthouse for Jesus Church - 6526 Chaisson Road. Burial will be in the St. Paul Cemetery. Pastor Donnie Bolden will officiate the service.
George Landry, 42, a long time resident of Abbeville, LA passed away at his residence on Monday, December 21, 2015.
He leaves to mourn his mother, Elizabeth L. Tolbert, step-father Robert Tolbert of Abbeville, LA; his children, La’Derrick Stagg, Shania Chambers, Eliza Chambers, Josiah Chambers, Marcus Landry, Bryant Landry, Jada Landry and Keyoni Bessard of Abbeville, LA; his siblings, Adrienne Liz Landry, Jaci G. Tolbert of Abbeville, LA; Tisha, Tasha, of Abbeville, LA; Cheryl, Cynthia, Terraine, of Virginia; Trellanie of Texas; Charlotte, Christi, of Alexandria, LA; Jonathan P. Landry, Jerran, Jamaal, Donovan, Julius, Michael, George H., Kevin, Shawn, of Abbeville, LA; Dwayne, of Virginia; and “Lil” Robert of Alexandria, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Diggs, Jr., grandparents, Dorothy Landry, George Diggs, Sr. and Claudine Diggs; children, Jeremiah Chambers, Jaden and Javian Landry.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. until time of service at the church.
