Ethan Paul Milliman

Ethan Paul Milliman, 25, went to meet the Lord on August 22, 2015 after prolonged health complications. Ethan was born May 24, 1990 in Lafayette, LA. He was a lifelong resident of the Acadiana area, having been raised in Abbeville, and briefly working and residing in Lafayette.
Ethan is survived by his parents, Eddie and Karen Milliman; maternal grandmother, Marie Fletcher; sisters, Marie Taylor, and Cassie Mullins with husband Brian; nieces and nephews, Lilly, Andie, Aiden, Carter, Griffin and Hayes; numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and dedicated friends, Joey D’Augereau and Candice Scheck.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Andy Milliman; paternal grandparents, JC and Darnella Milliman, and maternal grandfather, Ray Fletcher.
Ethan will be remembered as an easygoing person and generous friend. He was a lover of music, mechanics and gaming. He especially loved telling jokes during “coffee time” with his family and aimlessly driving the back, country roads.
At Ethan’s request, his body has been donated to science; therefore a graveside gathering will be held at a later date with family. On Friday, August 28, an informal memorial celebration will be held at the home of his parents, Eddie and Karen Milliman, for family to come together to reminisce about Ethan’s life. There’s an open invitation from 4-9pm, for close friends to come and pay their respects and share fond memories.
