ABBEVILLE — Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Elise Broussard, 90, who died Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Magnolia Estates Nursing Home.
She will be laid to rest at Graceland Cemetery with Reverend Louis Richard officiating the services.
She is survived by her son, Danny Prejean and his wife Barbara of Gonzales; daughter, Donna Stokes and her husband Joel of Lafayette; brother, Adam Broussard of Abbeville; two sisters, Norah Broussard of Lafayette and Delta Simon of Abbeville; four grandchildren, Todd Prejean, Matt Prejean, Shane Motty and Ashley Dehart; and ten great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ralph “Red” Whitley; parents, Ulysse Broussard and the former Madora Hebert; and brother, Ulysse Broussard, Jr.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
