ABBEVILLE — Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Daniel Paul Richard, 40, who died Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. Services will be conducted by Pastor Curtis Gibson of Charity Baptist Mission. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel's friends and family. Honorary pallbearers will be Augustin Richard and Kylie Richard.
He is survived by his parents, Eric James Richard and Emily Thomas Richard of Abbeville; brothers, Jacob Adam Richard and sister-in-law, Tillie DeHart Richard, and Gabriel James Richard and sister-in-law, Jamie Faulk Richard; niece, Kylie Michelle Richard; nephew, Augustin Jude Richard; paternal grandmother, Eulan Bourque Richard and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Augustin Richard; and maternal grandparents, Allen Lee Thomas, Sr. and Lucy Broussard Thomas.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Thursday, August 4, 206 from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.
