ABBEVILLE — Funeral services for Daniel Lee Mouton (44) were held at 2:00 P.M. Monday March 3, 2014, at Kinchen Funeral Home, CM Butler Chapel, Abbeville, LA.
Mr. Daniel Mouton, a long time resident of Crowley passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 8:06 A.M. at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley, LA. Fr. Clint Trahan, Pastor of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Morse, LA, will conduct the service.
The family is requesting visitation be held on Sunday 4PM until 9PM at Kinchen Funeral Home CM Butler Chapel - 218 N. St. Valerie street - Abbeville, LA. A Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 6PM by Ida LeMaire. Mr. Daniel Mouton will be buried in KY Hebert Cemetery in Roberts Cove.
Survivors include his wife, Tracy Mouton of Crowley; two sons, Paul DeVille of Abbeville and Lance Naumann of Kaplan; his mother Dorene Mouton of Kaplan; five sisters: Linda and her husband Paul LeMaire of Kaplan, Cynthia Comeaux of Crowley, Delores “Duckie” and husband James Gotte of Crowley, Christine and husband Rethman “T-Man” Vedalier of Gueydan, Paula “Nessie” and husband Kurt Abshire of Kaplan; His mother and father-in-law Shelton and Therese DeVille of Abbeville; three sister-in-laws Tesia Deville of Rayne, Titinia Duhon of Abbeville and Laura Gaspard of Kaplan; eighteen nieces and nephews and seven great nieces and nephews. Danny was preceded in death by his father Jules Mouton, Jr., one brother-in-law Roger Comeaux Sr.; two nieces, Amber and Ashlon Comeaux and one Nephew, Roger Comeaux Jr., his paternal grandparents Jules Mouton, Sr., and Belzie Fritz Mouton; his maternal grandparents Durphy and Caroline Dyson.
