Charles David Frederick Sr.

August 31, 1947 ~ February 15, 2016

A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 9 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton, Louisiana, honoring the life of Charles David Frederick Sr., 68, who died Monday, February 15, 2016, at Pelican Pointe Rehabilitation Center.
David donated his body to the LSU School of medicine in New Orleans.
David was an Eagle Scout in his younger days. He loved to fish, cook and spend time with friends and family. He especially loved helping his cousin Donald on the farm.
He is survived by two sons, Charles (Chuck) David Frederick Jr. of Abbeville and Courtney Frederick of Lafayette, Indiana; one grandson, Samuel Frederick of Abbeville; two brothers, Roger Frederick and his wife Janet of Lake Jackson, Texas, and John “Johnny” Frederick and his wife Brenda of Leroy; two sisters, Linda Vollmer and her husband Robert of Maurice, and Theresa Bodker and her husband William of Lafayette; and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald “Chinney” Frederick and the former Gladys Touchet, and brother Ronnie Frederick.
