Broderick Joseph Touchet

May 18, 1957 ~ October 19, 2014

KAPLAN—Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Broderick Touchet, 57, who died Sunday, October 19, 2014 at his residence . He will be laid to rest at St. David Chapel Cemetery in Mulvey with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.
Mr. Touchet was a tug boat captain for Broussard Brothers for numerous years. He was also an avid hunter and a great Cajun cook.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle Hebert Touchet of Forked Island; his father, Joseph Touchet; three sons, Aaron J. Touchet and his companion, Cortney Westmoreland of Sulphur, Scott E. Touchet and his wife, Katrina of Kaplan. and Jason L. Touchet and his wife, Lana of Maurice; the mother of his children, Sandy Kelly of Carlyss; two sisters, Dianna Touchet and her companion, Dallas Fabre of Maurice and Arletta and her husband, James Choate of Kaplan; one sister-in-law, Linda Hebert of Forked Island; two brothers, Dwight Touchet and his wife, Sara of Henry and Pullen Touchet and his wife, Natalie of Youngsville; seven grandchildren, Alexa, Madison, Brody, Elizabeth, Trent, Braylon, and Titan; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, May Dora Touchet; and his son, Baby Touchet.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 9 a.m. until services.
