ABBEVILLE — Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Harvest Time Tabernacle honoring the life of our beloved angel Bertha Breaux, 72 who departed this earth on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 4:00 AM surrounded by her loving family.
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Robert Wells officiating the services.
Bertha Marie Minnick was born on October 14, 1943 in Abbeville, Louisiana to Murphy Joseph Minnick and Bertha Solomon Minnick. She attended Holy Rosary Institute and Herod High School.
Bertha was a faithful employee of the Dietary Department at Abbeville General Hospital. She retired after 25 years of service.
She leaves to cherish loving and special memories her husband of 22 years, Earl J. Breaux, three devoted daughters; Pennie (Leroy) Brisco, Leanne Davis, and Sylvia (Larry) Dailey and doting son, Russell Minnick (Pamela). Also stepchildren, Francis Livings, Linda Petry, Earl Breaux, Jr., Paul Breaux, Curtis (Mary) Breaux, Clifton (Brenda) Livings, Daniel (Avern) Breaux and Tammy (Michael) Cook. She also leaves behind one sister, Marjorie Minnick; neices, Franchesca (Illya) Sterling, and Erika (Aaron) Comeaux; nephew, Percy Anthony Beloney, grandchildren, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends..
She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy and Bertha Minnick and sister Anna Marie Minnick.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Harvest Time Tabernacle, 901 Wildcat Dr. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until time of services.
