ERATH — A Mass of Christian Burial for Berdie M. Pratt, 81, will be 1:00PM Friday June 10, 2016 At Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Father Bill Melancon officiating. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery. Visitatation will be at David Funeral Home of Erath Friday June 10, 2016 from 8:00AM until service time.
Berdie, born in Perry and a resident of Erath passed away Thursday June 9, 2016 In Abbeville General Hospital.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who took care of people like they were one of the family.
She is survived by her son Ronald Pratt and wife Mary of Abbeville; daughter Tina Dupre and husband William Jr. of Abbeville; brother Norris Menard of Tampa, FL, 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Venance Pratt, son Van Pratt, parents Raymond and Ozia Luquette Menard, 2 Brothers Marion and Maxie Menard, and 3 sisters Eula Derouen, Annie Dugas, and Hazel Doyle.
