Renee’ Geraldine Arceneaux

LAFAYETTE – Funeral Services for Renee’ Geraldine Arceneaux, 53, will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at David Funeral Chapel of Lafayette with Fr. Schambough officiating. Interment will follow at St. Anne Cemetery.
Visitation will be at David Funeral Home of Lafayette on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 9:00AM until the time of the service with a recitation of the rosary at 11:00AM.
A native of Lake Charles and a resident of Maurice, Renee’ died at 12:45AM at Pelican Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center on Thursday, June 2, 2016.
She is survived by her father, Milton Joseph Arceneaux of Youngsville; two brothers, Dennis Chaumont of Edmond, OK and Terry Chaumont of El Paso, TX; four sisters, Delores Chaumont of Youngsville, Pam Arceneaux of Youngsville, Jackie Pfaff of Flower Mound, TX, and Rebecca Bares of Youngsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janie Cormier Arceneaux; and a brother, Ervin Arceneaux.
Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews, Alan Pfaff, Terry John Chaumont, Aaron Chaumont, Nicholas Lucas, Ross Bares, and Todd Lucas.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Kirby Gaspard, Michael Chaumont, Chandler Wray, and Kendall Gaspard.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the care providers at Evergreen Group Home for the loving care Renee’ has received over the years. Words cannot express the heartfelt gratitude also offered to the administration and staff at Pelican Pointe Rehabilitation Center for having gone to great lengths to provide her with love, compassion and immeasurable kindness in the last few months of her precious life.
