ABBEVILLE — Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church honoring the life of Peter George Tomino, 83, who died Monday, May 30, 2016.
He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Rev. Gregory Cormier officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Paul Tomino, Matthew Tomino, Chris LeBlanc, Eric LeBlanc, Michael LeBlanc and Robert Segura.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Gunter and Carrol Guilbeaux.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Guilbeaux Tomino; two sons, Paul Tomino and his wife Phyllis and Tommy Tomino and his wife Janice; two daughters, Angela LeBlanc and her husband Michael and Ann LeBlanc and her husband Chris; sisters, Mary Ryland, Virginia Maillet, Josie Fermin, Rosalie Palermo and Lucy Sargent; nine grandchildren, Eric LeBlanc, Matthew Tomino, Amber Tomino, Olivia LeBlanc, Christopher J. LeBlanc, II, Jason Tomino, Phillip Tomino, Ryan Tomino and Justin Tomino; and his great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Tomino and the former Conjacter Cattano; and a brother, Michael Tomino.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday June 1, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. when we will depart for the church.
