ABBEVILLE — A Home Going Celebration will be held for Clayton Landry 67 at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Mount Triumph Baptist Church, Abbeville, LA with Rev. E. I. Sullivan officiating.
He will await the resurrection at St. Paul Cemetery, Abbeville, LA.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday at the church 8:00 a.m. until the time of service.
A native and resident of Abbeville, LA he passed at 12:45 a.m. on May 11, 2016 at his residence.
He leaves to cherish his memory and in God’s care his loving wife, Luna “Millie” Campbell Landry of Abbeville, LA; three sons, Russell Betts (Karen) of Madison, WS, Juan Campbell (Gwen) of Abbeville, LA, Israel Walker (Samantha) of Abbeville, LA; one daughter, Helene Williams (Donny) of Scott, LA; four brothers, Lawrence Landry, Sr. (Louanna) of Erath, LA, Tony Landry (Clarise), Wilmer Landry (Cheryl) both of Abbeville, LA, and Garfield Landry of Lafayette, LA; three sisters, Geraldine Landry of Abbeville, LA, Charlene Batiste (Emery) of Lafayette, LA, and Martha Gaines (Edward) of Abbeville, LA; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He now joins in glory with his parents, Gustauve Landry, Sr. and Hilda Malveaux Landry; one brother, Gustauve Landry, Jr.
Active pallbearers will be, Garfield Landry, Emery Batiste, Jarvis Landry, Wilmer Landry, Pierre Campbell, Andre Jonier.
Honorary pallbearers will be, Lawrence Landry, Tony Landry, Sr., Tony Landry, Jr., Brent Landry, and Jimmy Wilson.
