Abbeville Police investigate shooting

Abbeville Police are investigating a shooting that left one woman injured.
On the evening of Tuesday, March 29, Abbeville Police responded to a report of a shooting, located on the 600 Block of North Lamar Street.
Upon arrival, the officers learned that a female sustained a gunshot wound to the right arm.
The victim was transported to Abbeville General, where she was treated for the gunshot wound and then transported to another medical facility.
Investigators collected evidence and statements at the scene.
