Nighty Breaux Credeur

Nighty Breaux Credeur entered into eternal life on Friday, March 18, 2016 in Houston, Texas. She was born to Joseph Breaux and Aurline Whittington Breaux in Scott, Louisiana on September 28, 1914. She was a resident of Abbeville for 42 years prior to moving to Houston. Nighty was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church of Sugarland, Texas. She loved spending time with family, playing Wahoo, dancing and gardening. Family and friends enjoyed her cooking and baking, especially her grilled pork chops on Sundays.
Nighty is reunited with her devoted husband of 38 years, Dallas Credeur; daughter, Verdia Crisanti and son-in-law Salvatore Crisanti. She leaves in God’s care, her son, Joe Elmo Credeur; five grandchildren, Deborah Jones and husband Larry, Salvatore Crisanti and wife Tricia, Dionne Kubin and husband Tommy, Angela Austin and husband Daniel and Cheryl Phillips and husband Gary Jr.; nine great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends left to continue her legacy of life and love.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be Monday, March 21, 2016 from 6:00-8:00pm with the Vigil and Rosary at 7:00pm. The Celebration of Nighty’s Life will be Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 1:00pm. All services will be held in the Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home. The Rite of Committal will follow at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Mausoleum.
