Dorothy Mae “Sing” White Hebert

ABBEVILLE — Funeral services will be held Friday, March 4, 2016 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Dorothy “Sing” Mae White Hebert, 87, who died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Vermilion Health Care Center.
Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate the service.
Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who had a way of making everyone feel special. She will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her son, Barry Hebert and his wife Mary of Abbeville; daughters, Dean H. Moore and her husband Sidney of Abbeville, and Gina H. Lacour and her husband Carroll of Mouton Cove; sister, Gloria L. Sellers of Lafayette; eleven grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Royce Reginald “Reggie” Hebert; parents, Malon White and the former Lillian Luquette; and daughter, Trudy H. Simon.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. until time of services.
