Task Force arrests three from Erath, one from Kaplan for possession of meth
According to Sheriff Mike Couvillon, the Vermilion Municipal and Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force made the following arrests for narcotics related offenses within the parish.
Daniel Alford, 37, of Kaplan, was arrested in Kaplan for Possession of Schedule II, (methamphetamine)
Victoria Anselmi, 42, of Erath, was arrested in Erath for Possession of Schedule II, (methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Chad Campbell, 44, of Erath, was arrested in Abbeville for Possession of Schedule II, (methamphetamine), and Possession of Suboxone and Possession of Schedule I, (marijuana)
Jade Viator, 37, of Erath was arrested in Erath for Possession of Schedule II, (methamphetamine). Viator was also actively on Probation with the Department of Corrections and was also wanted out of Iberia Parish for Home Invasion. Detainers were placed on Viator.
Sheriff Couvillon would like to thank the Mayors, and their council, of Abbeville, Kaplan, Gueydan, Maurice and Erath, along with their Chiefs of Police, for their support of the Vermilion Municipal and Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force. Sheriff Couvillon also applauds the concerned citizens of Vermilion Parish for their awareness and assistance in helping the Task Force in fighting the war on illegal drugs.
