One Acadiana Partners to produce statewide economic development summit

LAFAYETTE – One Acadiana (1A) announced today its collaboration with economic development partners across Louisiana, including the Lafayette Economic Development Authority (LEDA), to produce a Statewide Economic Development Summit in Baton Rouge on April 18, featuring keynote presentations by Governor John Bel Edwards and Secretary of Louisiana Economic Development Don Pierson, Jr. The first-of-its-kind in 10 years, the Summit presented by Entergy is intended to strengthen the state’s economy through shared ideas and business practices.

The Summit will take place at L’auberge Baton Rouge from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Additional content for the day includes a presentation by Matt S. Erskine, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development and Chief Operating Officer for the Economic Development Administration; a technology panel featuring technology companies from around the state; and a national site selection consultant.
