Romona Mae Abshire Mouton

ABBEVILLE — Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Romona Mae Abshire Mouton, 81, who died Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette.
She will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Louis Richard officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Cedric Mouton, Robin Mouton, Charles Mouton, Irving Broussard, Jason Abshire and Colby Broussard.
She is survived by her sons, Cedric Mouton and his wife Nanette of Abbeville, Robin Mouton of Abbeville and Charles Mouton of Baton Rouge; and three brothers, Donald Abshire of Forked Island, Lonnie Abshire of Kaplan and Todd Abshire of Cow Island.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Mouton; parents, Avery Abshire and Hilda Hebert; and a brother, Raywood Abshire.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday February 3, 2016 from 8:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. when we will depart for the church.
