Mark Anthony Broussard

KAPLAN — Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 11, 2016 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Mark Anthony Broussard, 50, who died Friday, January 8, 2016 at Willis-Knighton Health System. He was laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Deacon David Vaughn officiating the services.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Janet Faulk Broussard of Kaplan; one son, Travis A. Broussard (Danielle) of Boston, MA; four daughters, Hollie B. Broussard (Jacob) of Youngsville, Magon L. Broussard (Ronald) of Kaplan, Resha A. Broussard (Trevor) of Abbeville, and Shyla R. Henry (Cody) of Church Point; his mother-in-law, Joyce Faulk of Kaplan; one son-in-law, Brigg McDaniel of Kaplan; two sisters, Sarah R. Mire and her husband, Eddie of Abbeville and Janice P. Taylor of Abbeville; three brothers, Bradley Peltier and his wife, Tina of Erath, Chris Peltier and his wife, Paulette of Abbeville, and Greg Broussard and his wife, Shannon of Abbeville; and five grandchildren, Kennedy, Sydney, Wyatt, Elise, and Baby Prejean.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark Minos Broussard and the former Eunice Bourque; his godchild, Benji Lee Cormier; and his father-in-law, Mahlen Faulk.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, January 11, 2016 from 8 a.m. until the services with a rosary being prayed at 11 a.m.
