Cora D. Broussard

KAPLAN — Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Cora D. Broussard, 89, who died Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Vermilion Health Care Center. She will be laid to rest at Pecan Island Community Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services.
She is survived by her daughter, Iris Broussard of Pecan Island; one sister, Idouma D. Harrington of Erath; one sister-in-law, Maud Ray of Abbeville; one granddaughter, Pamela and her husband, Anthony Langlinais of Forked Island; and three great grandchildren, Brennan Mire of Kaplan, Wyatt and Kaitlin Roy, both of Forked Island.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oleus Ditch and the former Eumea Bourque; four brothers, Kenneth, Sherman, Norman, and Edison Ditch; one infant brother; four sisters, Thelma D. and her husband, Mildredge Broussard, Ada D. and her husband, Irin (Poop) Bertrand, Opal D. and her husband, Lewis Bouillion, and Gertrude Ditch; one sister-in-law, Romona Ditch; and one brother-in-law, Julius Harrington.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Avenue, on Monday, December 28, 2015 from 9 a.m. until services with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 a.m.
