Mildred LaCombe Touchet

GUEYDAN — The family and friends of Mildred Touchet are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on November 27, 2015, at the age of 79. Mildred was born in Lake Arthur, LA to the late David LaCombe and the late Andrea Teal LaCombe on September 14, 1936. She loved to spend her time with her family. Mildred, in her spare time, would like to go camping and shopping. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved and adored her.
Mildred is survived by her husband, Lloyd P. Touchet of Gueydan, LA; son, Lindy W. Duhon (Loretta) of Erath, LA; brother, Calvin LaCombe (Celestine) of Gueydan, LA; two grandchildren, Mindy Duhon and Peter Duhon; and seven great grandchildren, Daelyan Bessard, Dezmond Bessard, Dreven Bessard, Kaiah Gedward, Kamryn Gedward, Jessica Duhon and Justin Duhon.
She is preceded in death by her parents, David and Andrea LaCombe; two sons, Lane Allen Labat and Joseph Labat; one sister, Helen L. Martin; and three brothers, Leroy A. LaCombe, Herbert LaCombe and Wilbert P. LaComb.
A funeral service will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Gueydan, LA on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Deacon Thomas Sommers officiating. Burial will follow in the Gueydan Cemetery under the direction of Matthews and Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Gueydan, LA on Sunday, November 29th from 2:30 PM until 9:00 PM. A Rosary recited at 6:00 PM Sunday evening. Visitation will resume on Monday at 8:00 AM until the time of her Service at 11:00 AM.
