ABBEVILLE — Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at a 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Kathryn Marielle Hatch, 15, who died Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.
She will be laid to rest at LeBlanc Community Cemetery with Rev. Brian Harringon officiating the services.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Hicks, Zachary Hatch, Andre’ LeBlanc, Hilary LeBlanc, Luke LeBlanc and Patrick LeBlanc.
Kathryn was a freshman at Erath High School. She enjoyed art projects, computers, reading books and playing soccer. She loved horses, owls, and animals of all kinds especially her two dogs, Cinnamon and Juliet.
She is survived by her parents, Bobby and Philomena LeBlanc Hatch of Abbeville; brother, Zachary Wayne Hatch of Abbeville; paternal grandparents, BR and Joyce Hatch of Springhill, LA; and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Abdon Nolan LeBlanc and Mary Magdalene Zaunbrecher LeBlanc; and paternal grandmother, Kathryn Tyler Hatch.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles Street, on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 7:00 p.m.; Wednesday November 25, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. when we will depart for the church.
