Abbeville—Funeral services was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Larry Ray James Becker, 76, who died Thursday, November 19, 2015.
Deacon Tim Marcantel officiated the services.
Larry proudly served his country proudly in the United States Army. He worked in the oilfield all his life working at several companies including Oil Base Inc, Hughes Drilling Fluid, ATCO, Trussco and Boss Rentals. Larry never met a stranger and was a friend to all.
He is survived by his son, Brady Becker; daughter, Cherie Becker Peloquin and her husband James; and six grandchildren, Drake Marceaux, Hunter Marceaux, Colton Marceaux, Dillan Peloquin, Kobi Becker and Gabby Becker.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Jacquelyn Guilbeau Becker; parents, Herbert Becker and the former Evelyn Pickett; and sister, Rita Faulk.
