ABBEVILLE – Funeral service for James Jackson is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 21, 2015 in the chapel of Kinchen Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Landry will officiate the service.
Mr. James Jackson (71), a long time resident of Abbeville passed away at his residence on Friday, November 13, 2015 surrounded by family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elnora Brown Jackson of Abbeville, LA; three sons, James Anthony Jackson, Sr. (Tawana) of Lafayette, LA; Lucian Jackson and Alex Jackson both of Abbeville, LA; three daughters, Naomie Jackson, Catherine Jackson, and Rosalyn Campbell (Kendrick) of Abbeville, LA; 19 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Alex Jackson and Catherine Harcum Jackson; a sister, Isabella Barkley, and an aunt, Virginia Carter.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 8:00 A.M. until time of service.
