Perry - Gauthier exchange wedding vows

Miss Katie Perry, of Maurice, and Mr. Scott Gauthier, of Carencro, were united in marriage during a 7 p.m. ceremony on October 24, 2015, held at Keith’s Ballroom in Broussard, La.
The bride is the daughter of Becky and Phillip Perry. Her grandparents are Frances and Doris Hebert of Abbeville, Mary Perry of Abbeville, and the late Raymond Perry, Sr.
Parents of the groom are Pam and Dean Schexnayder. His grandparents are Betty and Forest Duhon of Lafayette and Marion and Gloria Schexnayder of Lafayette.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Jude Gaspard and Neil Simon.
Ushers were Matthew Toups and Jordan Toups, both cousin of the bride.
The mother of the bride was escorted by Jordan Toups. She wore a blue sleeveless long chiffon flutter dress. The illusion neckline was embellished with a dazzling jeweled necklace.
The mother of the groom was escorted by Matthew Toups. She wore a plum, knee length chiffon, three-quarter sleeve jacket dress with a beaded empire waist.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a strapless taffeta mermaid gown with beaded appliques on bust and hips. The gown featured a fitted ruched bodice, corset back and a chapel length train. Her two tiered veil featured a beaded scalloped edge, beaded flowers and sequins.
She carried a unique hand tied bouquet with elegant red roses and romantic white wax flowers.
Aimee Perry, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. The bridesmaid was Monica James Moore, sister-in-law of the groom.
The attendants wore a cherry colored satin ball gown with a brooch which added sparkle to the flattened side-draped skirt.
Isabelle Gauthier, daughter of the groom, and Ann-Marie James, niece of the groom, served as flower girls. They wore tea length ball gowns with 3D flower petals.
Ryan Gauthier, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsman was Dylan Gauthier, nephew of the groom. Ring bearers were Ian Gauthier, son of the groom, and Tyler Moore, nephew of the groom.
A reception immediately followed the ceremony at Keith’s Ballroom.
Upon their return from a wedding trip to Aspen Colorado, the couple will reside Carencro, La.
