ABBEVILLE – A service of Christian Burial is scheduled for Mrs. Mary Allen Walker at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 5, 2015 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with burial in St. Paul Cemetery. Father Greg Cormier will be the celebrant.
Mrs. Mary Walker, 63, a long time resident of Abbeville, LA passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at Abbeville General Hospital surrounded by her family.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her devoted husband Fenery Paul Walker, one son, Fenery Paul Walker, Jr. (Maureen), one daughter, Victoria Small (Robert) of Abbeville, LA; four brothers, Joseph Allen, Robert Allen (Mijoma), John Irvin Allen of Bentonville, AR; and Joseph Jeffery Allen (Marie) of Abbeville, LA; five sisters, Velma Allen, Renella St. Julien (Edward) of Abbeville, LA; Mary Smith Greene (Oscar) of Bentonville, AR; Mary Gregory (Clarence Ball) of Abbeville, LA; and Marie Spencer of New Iberia, LA; nine grandchildren, one son-in-law, Robert Small; one daughter-in-law, Maureen Romero, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Neffery Allen and Mary Taylor Allen; a granddaughter, Danesha Small, a sister, Mary Shelvin, a brother, Irvin Allen, her grandparents, Adeline and Gustave Taylor, and a host of aunts and uncles.
