Abbeville Police still searching for youths who wrecked stolen car

The Abbeville Police Department know the names of the two youths who fled the scene of a single car accident Tuesday afternoon. What they do not know is where the two young men are.
Around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, the Abbeville Police received a phone call about a single car accident on North John Hardy Drive.
A gold Toyota Avalon, for unknown reasons, went off the road, went into a ditch, turned upside down and then hit an electrical pole.
There were three youths in the car and two were able to climb out of the wrecked vehicle, grab a red bag and take off running into a sugar cane field.
The third person flew out of the car and was on the ground when medical help arrived. He was a 15-year-old youth.
The car was reported stolen this past weekend in Abbeville.
Anyone having information about the two individuals is asked to please contact the Abbeville Police Department at 893-2511.
