Angela Lee becomes Mrs. Mitchell Bradley

Miss Angela Lee and Mr. Mitchell Bradley became man and wife during a ceremony held at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Abbeville on March 7, 2015.
Father Kendal Faulk officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Anne Luquette of Abbeville and Tedman Lee of Mt. Juliet, TN. Her grandparents are Wanda and Irby Luquette of Abbeville and the late Nelwyn and Wilton Lee of Erath, La.
Parents of the groom are Donna and Joey Bradley of Forked Island. His grandparents are Dean and Steven Faulk of Kaplan and Linda and Kenneth Bradley of Forked Island.
Music for the event was performed by Tommy Guidry, organist; Jarod Gray, trumpeter; and Jennifer Melancon, vocalist.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an elegant gown found exclusively at A-Net’s Bridal Boutique. The gorgeous style was created from a rich ivory lace applique on soft net. The sculptured neckline featured scalloped straps and a V-shaped back while the empire waist was accented with a Swarovski crystal brooch. Finally the slim, A-Line skirt flowed into a semi-cathedral train with cascading covered buttons and crystal clusters. Her headpiece was a handmade lace comb with pearls and sequins designed by Cindy Broussard.
The bride carried a nosegay bouquet of white hydrangeas, camel colored roses adorned with veronica.
Camille Lee, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaid included Amanda Lewis, cousin of the bride; Ashley Smith, friend of the bride; Laina Simon, cousin of the groom; Andrea Baugh, cousin of the bride; and April Petrey, friend of the bride.
They wore formal length Rosewood chiffon A-line silhouette dresses featuring a pleated bodice. The straps were different based on the bridesmaids preferences. They carried nosegay bouquets of white hydrangeas.
The flower girl was Brailynn Doucet, daughter of the bride. Her dress was a tank bodice featuring delicate lace and chic peplum detailing with a long tulle skirt. She carried a smaller nosegay of white hydrangeas, camel colored roses adorned with veronica. She also wore a handmade lace comb with pearls and sequins designed by Cindy Broussard.
Jason Iguess, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Durk Baudoin, friend of the groom; Eric Bradley, brother of the groom, and Stephen Lee, brother of the bride; Matt Fenetz, friend of the groom and Jason Petrey, friend of the groom. Ushers included Brett Lee, cousin of the bride and Tim Faulk, godfather of the groom.
A reception was held at Black’s Reception and Banquet Hall in Abbeville.
The bride’s cake, decorated by the groom’s grandmother, Linda Bradley, was a four tier, ivory cream cheese icing with strawberry and Bavarian cream filling. It was finished off with contrasting ribbon and an antique brooch.
The groom’s cake, also decorated by his grandmother, was a two tiered yellow cake with chocolate and ganache icing. It was finished with Oreo cookies.
When the couple returns from a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Kaplan.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at the home of the groom.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Vermilion Catholic High School and a 2007 graduate of SLCC with an EMT certification. She is employed at Gulf Coast Chemical in Abbeville.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Kaplan High School and McNeese State University with a degree in Ag Business. He is employed with the United States Corp of Engineers in Intracoastal City, La.
