Alexandra Dugas and Shay Hargrave exchange vows

Miss Alexandra Marie Dugas of New Iberia, La. and Shay Anthony Hargrave of Kaplan were joined in marriage at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia on Saturday, March 7, 2015.
Minister Kyle Monceaux performed the 6 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Raymond and April Dugas of New Iberia. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Percy Comeaux of New Iberia and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dugas of Lafayette, La.
The groom is the son of Dennery Hargrave and Alita Broussard of Kaplan. His grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Ben Hargrave of Kaplan, and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Landry of Kaplan.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore a Spanish lace V-neck gown with scallop detail and beaded accent belt designed by Aire Barcelona. Completing the ensemble was a hand made vintage Swarovski crystal headpiece with silk petal sides designed by Doloris Petunia.
Emily Talley, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Sarah Blanchard, Abigail Comeaux, Olivia Dugas, sister of the bride, Fallon Duhon, sister of the groom, Chelsea Faulk, Kelcie Freyou, Kimberly Guillot and Bethany Romero. Junior bridesmaid was Jenna Duhon.
The attendants wore taupe, pink floor length gowns with scalloped lines of iridescent, metallic beads and sequins that accentuated the sheer mesh overlay designed by Adrianna Papell. The flower girls, Amelia and Avery Comeaux, Lauren Duhon and Brynn Faulk, wore flower crowns of pink roses and baby’s breath.
Dennery Hargrave, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Brant Abshire, Andre Couvillon, Frankie DuBois II, Jeremy Duhon, Daniel Faulk, Dylan Hargrave, Ryan Hargrave, brother of the groom, Skyler Hargrave and Joshua Hebert. Junior groomsman was Riley Comeaux and Frankie DuBois III, was the ring bearer. Ushers were Nicholas Comeaux and Jared and Jonathan Romero.
The reception was held at Rip Van Winkle Gardens.
Upon their return from a wedding trip to Antigua, the couple will reside in Kaplan, La.
The bride is a 2008 graduate of Catholic High School in New Iberia and a 2012 graduate of UL at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She is employed at Abbeville General Hospital.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Kaplan High School and is employed with the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office.
