Vermilion’s superintendent will help locate next LSU-Eunice chancellor

Vermilion Parish School Superintendent Jerome Puyau is on a eight member search committee to select the next chancellor of LSU Eunice.
Louisiana State University President and Chancellor Dr. F. King Alexander has named an eight-member search committee of faculty and staff.
Dr. S. Renee Robichaux, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, will chair the panel that will recommend finalist for the post to the LSU Board of Supervisors. LSU Board of Supervisors will ultimately choose the new chancellor to succeed Dr. William J. Nunez, who will be retiring in June.
Search committee members in addition to Robichaux and Puyau include:

• Dr. Bill Richardson, LSU Vice President for Agriculture
• E. Lynn LeJeune, President and CEO of the Opelousas-St. Landry Chamber of Commerce
• Dr. James W. Robinson, President of the LSU Eunice Faculty Senate
• Dr. Douglas Narby, Associate Professor of Psychology, LSU Eunice
• Ms. Arlene C. Tucker, Vice Chancellor for Business Affairs, LSU Eunice
• Ms. Judy Daniels, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Enrollment Services, LSU Eunice
A national search firm will be utilized to assist in the identification of candidates.
LSU Eunice is located just southwest of Eunice in Acadia Parish, near the boundaries of Evangeline and St. Landry Parishes.
