Gueydan’s first baby born January 5

GUEYDAN - Jon Taylor Walton is officially Gueydan’s first baby of 2015. Jon Taylor came into the world on Monday, January 5, 2015.
Baby Jon Taylor weighed seven pounds and three ounces and measured 20 inches in length. The new baby was born at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
Jon Taylor came home to his mother and father Erin and George Walton and his two siblings, Isaac and Caroline.
Merchants who participated in giving gifts to the new baby include: Health Mart Pharmacy, $25 Gift Certificate; The Gueydan Journal, one year’s subscription; Lougon Shopping Center, choice of one case ready to use formula or convenient pack of diapers; Les Dames de Gueydan, $50 cash; Marceaux Superette, one convenient pack of diapers and Farm Bureau is giving $25 cash.
