Sullivan Arnold

ABBEVILLE — A Home-going Celebration will be held for Sullivan “Cowboy” Arnold, 81 at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Saint Mary Congregational Church, Abbeville, LA with Rev. Kevin M.A. Williams, officiating.
He will await the resurrection at Saint Mary Congregational Church Cemetery, Abbeville, LA.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 7:00 A.M. Saturday at the church until time of services.
A native of Selma, Alabama and resident of Abbeville, La., he passed at 7:42 A.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Abbeville General Hospital following a brief illness.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 34 years, Joanne Brown Arnold, five sons, Sullivan (Brenda) Arnold, Jr., of Vancleave, MS, Paul (Eve) Brown, O. Wayne Brown, Tristan Arnold and Ramondo Brown Arnold all of Abbeville, LA, five daughters, Tawanna Arnold of Moss Point, MS, Yevonne Robinson and Nayo Robinson Arnold of Tampa, FL, Bernastine (Mack) Willis of New Iberia, LA, and Patrice Bell of Houston, TX, two brothers, Phillip Arnold of Pensacola, FL, and David (Alice) Sanders of Cantonment, FL, four sisters, Roberta Arnold of Pensacola, FL, Mary Alice (Albert) Robbins and Sally (William) Shoemo of Cantonment, FL and Sadie Sanders of Gainesville, FL, twenty five grandchildren, twenty five great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers will be, Tristan Arnold, Anthony Veney, Curray Veney, Keith Scott, Deangelo Pugh and Eric O’Neil Arnold.
Honorary pallbearers will be, Sullivan Arnold, Jr., Albert Carter, Jr., Phillip Arnold, Guize Brown, Paul Brown, Craig Brown, Wayne Brown, Dwight Brown, Marvin Summers, James Guidry, David Sanders and Loveless Robinson.
