Vermilion Narcotics Unit arrest four allegedly with drugs
According to Sheriff Mike Couvillon, the Vermilion Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit made the following arrests for narcotics related offenses within the parish.
- Randal Savoy, (Date of birth 5/23/72) of Kaplan, arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute schedule IV narcotic (Valium), possession of a schedule III narcotic (Lortab), possession of a schedule II narcotic ( Adderall), possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of transactions involving drug proceeds.
- Chad Campbell, (Date of Birth 2/24/71) of Erath, arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule II narcotic (suboxone), and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Jaron Hoffpauir, (Date of birth 8/12/96, of Abbeville, arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute marijuana, and have illicit narcotics within a school zone.
- Josh Labit, (Date of birth 3/30/85) of Abbeville, arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine, two counts of illegal use of a controlled substance, and contempt of court.
Sheriff Couvillon would like to applaud the concerned citizens of Vermilion Parish for their awareness and assistance in helping the Sheriff’s Office in fighting the war on illegal drugs.
