Memorial Services will be held for Gerald Cook, Sr. 61 at 12:00 Noon on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Fletcher Funeral Home, 1116 Green Street, Abbeville, LA.
Interment will be private.
A native of Fresno, Ca. and resident of Abbeville, LA he passed Sunday following a sudden illness.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Belinda Fairley Cook of Fresno. CA, two sons, Gerald Cook. Jr., and Kureen Javon Cook both of Fresno, CA, one daughter Keeshone Cook of Los Angeles, CA, one brother Eugene Cook of Las Vegas, NV, one sister Cecile Evans of Maurice, LA, six grandchildren, a special companion, Betty J. Livings of Lafayette, LA, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip Cook and Fannie Prime Cook, four brothers, Phillip, Richard, Henry and Herbert Cook.
