Couple united in holy matrimony

Miss Brooke Michele Broussard and Mr. Vincent Frederick Zaunbrecher were united in holy matrimony during a ceremony held on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Abbeville.
Father Kendal Faulk was the celebrant for the 7 p.m. wedding.
The bride is the daughter of Ms. Kathy Broussard and Mr. Danny Broussard. Grandparents are Una Broussard and the late Whitney Broussard of Abbeville; Bobbie Broussard and N.R. Broussard, both of Abbeville.
The groom is the son of Donna and Kevin Zaunbrecher of Kaplan. Grandparents are Ann Vincent and the late Godfrey Vincent of Kaplan and Laura Zaunbrecher and the late Frederick Zaunbrecher of Gueydan.
Readings were given by Leslie Vincent, sister of the groom and Jean Broussard, uncle of the bride.
Ushers were Lorenz Zaunbrecher, brother of the groom and Hunter Broussard, friend of the couple.
The mother of the bride was escorted by Hunter Broussard.
The mother of the groom was escorted by her son and her husband.
The bride was escorted down the isle by her father.
Matron of honor was Brandy Bouillion, sister of the bride; Bridesmaids included Kellie Romero and Jena Johns, both friends of the bride, Jena Zaunbrecher, sister of the groom, April Landry, Roslyn White, and Sydney Broussard, all cousins of the bride. Flower girl was Brylynn Romero, godchild of the groom.
Augustus Zaunbrecher, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Mitchell Suire, Ross Couvillion, Brock Romero, and Roddy LeBouef, all friends of the groom, Steven Briolo and Curtis Briolo, both cousins of the groom. Ring bearer was Griffin Landry, cousin of the bride.
Following the wedding, a reception was held at Magdalen Place.
After a wedding trip to the island of Grenada, the couple will reside in Abbeville.
