ABBEVILLE – Funeral services for Mrs. Gwendolyn Perro Broussard will be held Saturday, November 08, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Faith Hope Missionary Baptist Church – 407 Duroq Street – Abbeville, LA. She will await the resurrection in the Pleasant Green Baptist Church Cemetery. Bishop B. K. Stevens will officiate the service.
Mrs. Gwendolyn P. Broussard (59), a long time resident of Abbeville, LA passed away early Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.
She leaves to cherish her memory but in God’s care, her husband, Calvin Broussard, Sr. of Abbeville, LA; three children, Calvin J. Broussard, Jr., Damon Broussard (Tasha), and Fawanda Broussard Levy (Robert) all of Abbeville, LA; grandchildren, Jonae, Tazaree, Tiayle, Madeline, Jasamine, Damon Jr., Kelvonna, Kelvin Jr., Tyreik, Endia, and Azariya of Abbeville, LA; two step-sisters, Odellia Harrison and Mildred Perro, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, Godchildren, and friends. Additionally, she had two special friends who were always there for her, Mary Landry and Barbara Winn. She also had her sisters and brothers as she would call them, Patty Frank, Shelia Forest, Penny Lively, Hubert Butcher, and Merrick Frank.
She was preceded in death by both parents, Abraham Perro and Dorothy Thomas Perro.
Visitation will be at Faith Hope Missionary Baptist Church Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 8:00 A.M. until time of service
