Notre Dame too much for Abbeville

The Notre Dame Pios continue to pitch a shutout over the last three games.
The Abbeville Wildcats became their latest victim this past Friday night.
The Pios won 57-0 against the Wildcats.
The Wildcats were only down 7-0 after the first period, but then the Pios scored 20 in the second period.
Notre Dame sealed the win in the opening minutes of the second half with an 83 yard punt return for a touchdown.
The Wildcats could never get anything going on offense. They only had 36 yards of total offense, compared to Notre Dame’s 432 yards.
The Pios had 272 yards on the ground and 160 in the air.
Abbeville had 15 total ground yards on 35 carries. Through the air was not much better. Abbeville had 21 yards.
Buck Morris led AHS with 11 totes for 57 yards.
AHS quarterback DeMarcus Collins completed three of 11 passes for 21 yards.
Abbeville (0-8) entertains Kaplan on Friday.
