Jerry Fred Vines

Jerry Fred Vines of Many died at Abbeville General Hospital on October 22, 2014.
He was a resident of Abbeville for many years where they raised their two children. He was born in North Louisiana on January 11, 1946.
He was married to Barbara Ann Vines for 50 years. The two of them were a couple for 61 years. They were lifelong soul mates. Their love was a testament to the most unconditional purest love there is. He instilled this love in each person in the entire Vines family.
Jerry and Barbara had two children, Teddy Dewayne Vines and Tangee Renee Vines Durke. Mr. Jerry was an integral part of his family whom he loved and protected. They have lost their patriarch. He was loved so very much by so many people.
He leaves behind his daughter Tangee and her husband Coy of Abbeville and his son Teddy and his wife Lesley of Lafayette. He also leaves his three grandsons who he completely adored, Coy James Durke II, Derek Matthew Vines, and Trey Dewayne Vines. Mr. Jerry is survived by one sister Shirley Ebarb and one brother Curtis Vines of Zwolle, Louisiana, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
