Edward Francis

KAPLAN — Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church for Edward Francis, 74, who departed this earthly life on October 9, 2014.
Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Edward leaves in God’s loving care and to cherish his memories two children, Kutrina (Elvin) Francis and Jonas (Adrianne) Francis, both of Abbeville, LA; six grandchildren, D’Myya, DiQuandre, Da’Shane, Jonas Jr., Jayceion and Jacarter Francis, all of Abbeville, LA; a companion of 20 years, Gale Paddio; seven sisters, Lorraine Mosely, Linda Wagenblast of Pearland, TX, Gloria (Habert) Rhodes, Barbara (Jacob) Riskakis, Audrey St. Andrew, Stephanie Williams, all of Beaumont, TX, Patricia (Jose) Cordero of Marfa, TX; five brothers, Donovan (Mary) Williams of Beaumont, TX, Donald (Theresa), David, Keith, Truman O’Brien, all of Kaplan, LA; one Goddaughter, LaDonna Evans of Baton Rouge, LA and a host of family and friends.
Edward was preceded in death by his wives, Evelyn Francis and Shirley Francis; three sons, Lance Francis, Edward Francis, Jr. and one unnamed son; one daughter, Annie Edwards; one grandchild, Dashannon Ann Francis; his mother, Nora Williams; step-father, Clifton Williams, Sr.; four siblings, Clifton Williams, Jr., Leonard Williams and Kenneth and Lercy O’Brien; his maternal grandparents, Edith and Noah Francis.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
