Caitlyn Gooch - Ryan Adams exchange vows

Miss Caityln Paige Gooch and Mr. Ryan Todd Adams were joined in marriage during a ceremony held on Sunday, October 5, 2014.
The event was held at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia. Pastor Dennis Romero, grandfather of the groom, officiated the 5:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Robert Wayne Gooch, II and Angela Lambert Gooch of Erath. Her grandparents are Mrs. Rose Lambert and the late Bill Lambert of Abbeville, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gooch of Abbeville.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Todd and Kimberly Adams. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Romero of Abbeville and Mr. and Mrs. Milton Adams, Jr. of Abbeville.
Music for the ceremony was by Ashley Towman, harpist and Chad Romero, cousin of the groom, was the vocalist. At the reception, he sang a special tribute to the couple, ‘God made you for me’.
Escorted by her father, the bride selected an Oleg Cassini ball gown. The enchanting strapless champagne colored bodice featured an intricately designed beaded Venise lace applique and corset detailing with an elegant organza ruffled skirt with chapel train.
The bride carried a cascading bouquet of white roses and white hydrangeas.
Attending as matron of honor was Vanessa Vollmer, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids included Toni Romero, cousin of the groom; Teri Perry, cousin of the bride; and Destiny Perry, friend of the bride.
They wore royal blue strapless bodice with a sweetheart neckline, empire waist, and long satin skirt adorned with a sparkling brooch. Their flowers consisted of round, hand-tied mounds of royal blue delphiniums, light blue hydrangeas and white miniature roses.
The flower girl was Kaylynn Rose Adams, sister of the groom.
Attending as best man was Zachary Adams, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Landon Gooch, brother of the bride; Travis Lee, friend of the groom; and Jonathan Gregory, friend of the groom.
Ring bearer was Caleb Lambert Gooch, brother of the bride.
Ushers included Seth Adams, brother of the groom; Jacob Gooch, brother of the bride.
The mother of the bride was escorted by her son, Jacob Gooch.
The mother of the groom was escorted by her husband, Todd Adams.
A reception was held immediately following the ceremony with dinner and dancing.
After their return from a wedding trip to Perdido Key, Florida, the couple will reside in Abbeville.
A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at their home on September 28, 2014.
The bride is a 2013 graduate of Erath High School and is employed at Cili Minerals in Lafayette, La.
The groom is a 2012 home schooled graduate and is employed at Lowe’s in Abbeville.
