Amanda Boffy becomes Mrs. Rusty Touchet

Miss Amanda Boffy and Mr. Rusty Touchet, both of Abbeville, were married during a ceremony held on August 2, 2014, at the VN Hall in Abbeville.
Wallace Primeaux, Jr. officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Denis Boffy.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Clauida and Mr. Donny Broussard of Kaplan and Mr. Russell and Mrs. Tina Touchet of Kaplan.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Homer Stelly.
Ushers were Carrick Boffy, brother of the bride, and Eric Jukes, brother-in-law of the bride.
The mother of the bride was escorted by Carrick Boffy and Erick Jukes.
The mother of the groom was escorted by Donny Broussard.
Escorted by her father, Denis Boffy, the bride wore a tiered scallop skirt with intricate beading across the bodice.
Nathalie Jules, sister of the bride, attended as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Victoria Trahan, Chelsea Gaspard, and Brooke Duhon, all friends of the bride. The junior bridesmaids were Alyia Broussard, niece of the groom, and Paige Trahan, cousin of the groom. Flower girl was Kylie Suggs, niece of the groom.
The attendant’s wore floor length chiffon dresses with ruffled back.
Taylor Trahan, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen included Cory Frith, Mike Hebert, and Drake Touchet, all friends of the groom.
Ring bearers were Pierce Boffy, nephew of the bride and Isaac Duhon, cousin of the bride.
A reception was held at the VN Hall immediately following the ceremony.
Special guests, Dominique Boffy and family, traveled from France to attend the wedding.
Following a wedding trip to Orange Beach, AL, the couple will reside in Abbeville.
