VC's Trahan wins defensive player of the week honors

Vermilion Catholic’s Emile Trahan had a great game against Central Catholic of Morgan City. At defensive back, he finished with eight solo tackles, including two for losses. Then he had two interceptions, just missing the school record by one interception. For the last 33 years, Duane Lege has held the record with three. Trahan kicked three extra points and he had four kick off returns for a total of 90 yards against Central Catholic. Trahan did not have a bad offensive game, either.
