Sen. Perry Receives family advocate award

BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana Family Forum (LFF) recognized District 26 State Senator Jonathan “JP” Perry with the Outstanding Family Advocate award.
To receive the Outstanding Louisiana Family Advocate award, a legislator must achieve a perfect rating on the LFF Action’s annual scorecard.
“Family values are my top priority in the legislature, the community and my own home,” Perry said. “I am honored to once again receive this distinguished award. I have and will always continue my commitment and dedication to Louisiana’s traditional family values.”
Sixteen representatives and 12 senators earned the Outstanding Family Advocate awards. The legislators were honored during LFF’s 15th Annual Legislative Awards Banquet on Sept. 18 in Baton Rouge.
Perry represents Acadia, Lafayette, St. Landry and Vermilion parishes.
