ABBEVILLE – Funeral services for Mrs. Elea Broussard (77) will be held Saturday, October 04, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Lighthouse for Jesus Church – 6526 Chaisson Road – Abbeville, LA with burial in the St. Paul Cemetery in Abbeville. Rev. Donnie Bolden, Sr. will conduct the service.
Mrs. Broussard, a long time resident of Abbeville passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Charles Broussard of Abbeville, LA; sons, Charles Broussard Jr, Calvin Broussard, Dalton Broussard, daughters, Catherine Broussard, Carolyn Begnaud, Jacqueline Broussard, Biniker Broussard, Step-daughter, Rose Landry, adopted daughters , Alesha Riggs, Le Ashia Riggs; two brothers, Harris Antoine of Abbeville, LA; and Lenness Antoine of Merced, CA; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Zephore Antoine and Adia Viltz Antoine, and sisters, Inella Marie Antoine, Mary Thibodeaux, Mable Antoine, Louella Nexis, and Leola Campbell; brothers, Elder Joseph Antoine, Lee Ray Antoine, and a daughter, Brenda Landry.
Visitation will be at Lighthouse for Jesus Church from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
