Heloise Broussard

Abbeville—Funeral services were held Monday, September 29, 2014 at a 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Thelma “Heloise” Broussard, 100, who died Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Eastridge Assisted Living Center.
She was laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Father Neil Pettit officiating the services.
Heloise worked for many years at Louise Amelia’s and enjoyed and appreciated her job there. She loved her collections, loved to travel, loved people and loved her family and family events. She was always willing to experience something new. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
She is survived by one brother C.L. Broussard of Abbeville and three sisters, Doloris (Dibby) B. Faulk of Abbeville, Florence (Flo) B. Rageur of Baton Rouge and Frances B. Bickham of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved and cared for as her own.
She was preceded in death by her father Jules J. Broussard, her mother Eunice LaSalle Broussard, sisters, Laurence (LoLo) B. Sonnier, Sr. Marie Therese Broussard, O.Carmel, Eunice B. Duchamp, Marjorie Broussard and Irene B. Dehart and brothers R.F.(Roy Felix) Broussard and Andre Earl Broussard.
The family would also like to thank her Eastridge Family who took care of her for many years.
