Abbeville, three other homecomings Friday in Vermilion Parish

It does not happen too often, but Friday it is happening - four homecomings on the same Friday.
Schools with homecomings will be Abbeville High, Kaplan High, Gueydan High and Erath High.
The classes honored will be 2004, 1994, 1984, 1974, 1964, 1954, 1944 and 1934.
Abbeville High’s homecoming activities began on Tuesday with the Powder Puff game and this morning is the AHS Hall of Fame Golf Scramble. It begins at 8 a.m. and golfers are still needed.
Abbeville High lets out today at 12:30 p.m.
Abbeville High School’s Homecoming Parade will start at 3 p.m. and will roll through downtown Abbeville and around Magdalen Square.

Erath High homecoming

ERATH - The town of Erath celebrates homecoming like few towns in south Louisiana.
This morning, Erath High graduates can return to school from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. to visit. The middle school visitation honors are from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and at Dozier Elementary it is from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. There will be no visitation at LeBlanc Elementary.
The homecoming parade begins at 12:30 p.m. and will pass in front of Erath High and Erath Middle School, go downtown and turn right on Dozier’s Road into Dozier Parking Lot.
Crowning of the queen will be at 6:15 and the game begins at 7 p.m. Erath plays Franklin Senior High School.

Kaplan High Homecoming

The homecoming parade will be a 2 p.m. and will travel down the boulevard. The game gets underway at 7 p.m.
