Muriel Margaret Trahan-Mouton

Muriel Margaret Trahan-Mouton, age 73, a native of Abbeville, La., and a resident of Gueydan, La. died on Monday September 15, 2014 at 12:29 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center of Lafayette, La.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 20, 2014 at the Hubbard United Church of Christ, 201 12th St., Gueydan, La. from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in Gueydan Cemetery of Gueydan, La.
Muriel Margaret leaves to cherish her memories: four sons, Bradley (Collette) Mouton and Tung Van Mouton both of Gueydan, La., Brian (Norma) Mouton of Crowley, La., and Albert (Cynthia) Mouton of Rayne, La.; four daughters, Terry (Adam “Boozie”) Dora, Bessie (Joseph Ruben) Mouton, Alma (Michael) Smith, and Tracey Mouton-Bourque all of Gueydan, La.; one sister, Vergie (Murray) Mitchell of Gueydan, La.; one brother, Allen (Jo Ann) Trahan of Gray, La.; nineteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Margaret is also survived by; her pets, Jake and Gibeau Mouton and a best friend and companion for many years, Leroy DeReoun.
Mrs. Mouton was preceded in death by; her husband, Landry “Buddy” Mouton; her parents, Bessie and Levird Trahan; one brother, Adam L. Trahan; two grandchildren; three nephews and two great nephews.
