ABBEVILLE — Funeral services for Stella Bourque Picard,87,will be 1:30PM Friday Sept. 12,2014 in David Funeral Home of Abbeville., Rev. Kenneth Mayne will officiate. Visitation will be held at David Funeral Home of Abbeville on Friday, September 12, 2014 from 10:00AM until service time with a rosary to be said at 11:00AM. Interment will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.
Stella, a native and resident of Abbeville worked as a nurse’s aid and was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church as well as the Ladies Altar Society, She passed away Tuesday Sept. 9, 2014 in a local care facility.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Picard Breaux and Theresa Picard Boudreaux both of Abbeville,5 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Germain Picard, her parents Joseph and Rose Suire Bourque, her brother Charles Picard and her sister Ella M. Bourque
